In Windows 7, The default action for the Power button on the start menu is Shutdown. I think this button is not necessarily useful for everybody.

Actually it really easy to change the Windows 7 Power Buttons to Shutdown, Sleep, and Hibernate. So how to change it?
- Right-click on the start menu and choosing Properties.
- Now you can change the drop-down for Power Button Action to whatever you would prefer.
- Click OK.
